After the completion of the business program of the All-Russian Forum on Corporate Governance, the Director of the Year award ceremony sponsored by Horizon Global took place. The ceremony honored the leading professionals in the field of corporate governance.

The award was established in 2006 by the Independent Directors Association and the Russian representative office of PWC. Since 2009, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs has also co-organized the Award.
